I spun six skeins of malabrigo merino roving into 2-ply yarn, and ended up using five of them in this cardigan, with some leftovers, so I’ll figure out something do with the sixth unused skein plus bits of the others. The skeins turned out varying exact weights, ranging worsted to aran to light-bulky maybe, but it all knit up and blocked out just fine! Yay!

My project start date is the day I started knitting, but the first skein was spun in November of 2014 (!!) so it was a looong term project! I love it so much!

It’s a pretty quick sweater to knit, by the way, but I did the first chunk during the summer and then started school in the fall and basically didn’t touch it until winter break. Then I finished it up and took a little while to get buttons and block it. I think I actually finished knitting it in January.
