Having fun with this pattern!
There are definitely spots where I’ve had to refer to the charts for clarification… but all in all, it’s enjoyablevictory_handvictory_handsmiling_face
I especially like all the changes in each row…I felt tempted to look ahead, but it felt like it would to read ahead in a book! I even stopped looking at the photos, just to be surprised….so much fun.

I wasn’t sure if there would be enough in the cake to forsake the plain black for the first several rows, but it looks like I might have had just enough to have started with the red/black. Next time, using this yarn, I would definitely save the solid color for the last 2 rows of the edging.

Still love how it turned out!
