Pick all kind of yarn in my mother’s cupboard to knit these socks.
Not all have the same weight, so I’m going to do with that…
I choose 4 mm needles : this size will fit all yarns, I guess.

Easy to knit, but I find the sock isn’t very large at the ankle, so it is really difficult to pass my heel through it. I hope it won’t shrink after washing or I’ll be forced to frog and re-knit this place…

Put all stitches on a waiting yarn at the top of the sock, because I couldn’t decide how long I want it !
Instead, I began the foot.
It seems a bit large for me (while the ankle was too narrow ) so I change my needles for 3.5 mm

Second sock done excepted the foot..

Finished.
About the pattern :
+++ I found the way the foot is done efficient and really pretty.
- - - The ankle is too narrow, so it’s difficult to pass the heel when one put the sock on !
The leg is too wide, especially the calf ! I had to change the pattern several times on the go, and it was boring.
If I knit these socks again in the future, I’ll keep the fair-isle pattern but change the shape.
