I used the yarn double stranded; did not have size 2 or 3 circular needles. They turned out larger than the two year old toddler size I was aiming for. I modified the pattern by adding a small amount of hand dyed alpaca for the eyeballs. I used Addi Turbo circulars and magic loop method for the body, DPNs for the thumbs. These took quite a while and there are errors in the patterning on one of them but overall I was very happy with the results and they are a hit!

Update 1/25/12 -- they are snug for her large 4.5 year old hands so a bigger set is on the way.
