I was going to make this pattern for a friend, but I wasn’t sure she would like it, so I made one for myself with leftover yarn I had from a baby gift I made from Vanna’s Choice Purple Print.

I liked the easy construction. If you want to modify the pattern, it would be easy. I wanted a fashion scarf, not a scarf for warmth, so I made it to the pattern length. Some comments I read by others who have made the scarf said they doubled the length because they didn’t like the default length. For me, it’s fine fastened with a brooch, shawl pin or just flung over a shoulder.

If you use Vanna’s Choice, don’t be concerned about the “crunchiness.” Wash or soak and block it, and it will make all the difference. It’s worth the little bit of effort - REALLY.
