Notes

One of my favorite pairs! These are really pretty and the JulieSpin yarn is wonderful, gives a lot of depth of reds.

I am changing the pattern a bit. First, I found that they were going to be a bit tight so after Chart 2, I switched to 2.5 needles from 2.25. I have smaller feet and ankles so I will be okay to wear these but I know that many could not. (I am an american size 4 in clothes, 7 in shoes; even though I am not short - or tall). So be warned that for most, a larger needle size would work better.

Instead of Chart 3, I used Chart 1 again as I thought it made a nicer more balanced pattern but I changed the heel completely. I put in an afterthought heel and used 2 different charts for the heel. I also used a different sole chart so my heel and soles are not from this pattern. I will post the charts that I used for these soon.

I like these socks and the nice thing is that even though they are a just a little bit tight to get on, once on they are very comfortable and I will not need to worry about the shoes “eating” them when I wear them walking for a long time.

Just realised all photos are pre-blocked. Ah well. Photography has never been my strong point and I doubt I will bother to take more. Still have not decided whether to overlay colour on them or not as in the one photo but think they are busy enough so I doubt it.
