This was just supposed to be a try out for another Giant Granny Square blanket l had just started but l like it a lot so now l have two GGB’s on the go

Hope this one is acceptable as a giant granny for the Cal too
Using 2 strands of DK and a 6mm hook mixing all sorts of colours and ends of balls together
About 30” across 20th july 2011
Taking about 35/40 minutes to go all way round now but progressing slowly
decided to leave the side triangle spaces open and just fill the corners with a circle and triangles to loo like a flower with leaves..works for me

Not dome much for weeks but it needs finishing for Christmas so next week l’ll have a blitz onboth of them and try to finish them both
