yarn a Christmas gift from my sister

pattern notes & mods:

• wanted a lighter weight knit so using laceweight
• used one size smaller needle than pattern called for
• using shawl pattern directions but added one extra lace chart outlined repeat so cast on an extra 12 stitches (longtail cast on 105st)
• the shawl was going to be much too long so halfway through I decided to decrease the number of center lace chart repeats (I block things pretty hard so always gain extra length, especially on shawls) ~ instead of 10, I did Row 1-40 seven times and then Row 1-30 once
• total rows worked on my shawl is 503 (if I counted right)
• my finished shawl with mods weighed 98g (used 72.5g main color and 25.5g contrast color)

• unblocked :: 17” wide x 58” long
• blocked :: 19” wide x 77” long
