CO 3 stitches.
Knit 28 inches of I-cord- just enough to wrap around the back of my head with room to spare.
Made the Walrus Moustache from Vicky Eames’s book Knit Your Own Moustache, then which stitched the bottom of the ‘stache to the I-cord, so the Walrus moustache would actually be upside down to get the shape of the Lorax moustache.
Cut up a ton of lengths of yellow yarn, thread them through the front of the moustache, and tied them off until it was nice and bushy. Then I tied the ends up to attempt an “arrangement” for the hair.
I think it ended up looking rather nice. :)
