Bag charms are back in a big way, baby! Or in this case, a little way, baby! Knit your own little sweater charm & identify yourself as a knitter with their finger on the pulse of contemporary trends <3

Seamlessly knit from the top down, the boxy shape of this sweater allows for more room to embellish your project with duplicate stitch, embroidery, bead work, etc.

gauge is not particularly important for this project.

Techniques used:
long tail cast on
1x1 ribbing
kfb increase
bind off knitwise

Notions and Materials:

  • size US 1 (2.25mm)32” or longer circular needle for magic loop
  • 35 yards (32 meters) of fingering weight yarn
  • 4 stitch markers, 1 unique for BOR
  • darning needle to weave in ends
  • ~3 inches (8cm) of 1/4” wide ribbon
  • Sewing needle and thread
  • key ring and clasp (optional) for attaching your sweater to bags/keychains/belt loops.
