Here at Alma Park, we raise alpacas (and a few llamas too), and make wonderful yarns and spinning fibers from our animals, but we are not just alpacas! We are a fully stocked commercial local yarn store featuring Plymouth and Berocco yarns. We also carry Baa Ram Ewe, Nako, The Alpaca Yarn Company and more.

We are also passionate about spinning! Come see our selection of handspun yarns and literally a ton of spinning fiber to spin your own yarn. From Alpaca to zwartbles, we have it all. We are the largest fiber stocked store in NJ and possibly the tri-state area.

We are a Louet dealer and sell spinning wheels, looms, spindles, carders, blending boards etc.

We have beginner and advanced spinning classes, crochet and knitting classes.

Custom hand painted yarn and fiber as well as art batts to spin or felt are our specialties and what makes us unique from most any other yarn store.

Since we are on an alpaca farm, we also carry alpaca socks, hats, gloves, blankets etc. Other gifts include hand-crafted soaps, knitting bags and commission shawls, cowls etc. Knitting needles and crochet hooks, and all the trinkets necessary are also available. If felting is your craft, we have tools for that too!
