Yarnia is moving! (… down the street)

I’m very excited to announce that Yarnia will be moving to a new space.

The final move date is still to be determined; renovation work is still being completed at the new space. I am hopeful for a March 1st move, but plans are still a bit in flux right now. I will post updated details on my blog, as well as try and keep this post current.

The new space is located at 285 Main Street Woonsocket, right next door to Chan’s. There is street parking in front of the building, but we also have a parking lot that is accessed from the Clinton Street side of the building. The new space runs the full width of the building, so there is a second entrance directly into the shop from the parking lot. No stairs, so handicap friendly - yay!

It’s very easy to find from the old shop. If you were standing facing the old shop, you’re going to go to your left straight down Main Street. At the end of that section of Main Street is a traffic light. Continue straight going under the railroad bridge. Immediately after the railroad bridge you turn left into our parking lot.

More details to follow, but one fun development is the addition of Melissa. Melissa is the owner of The Opulent Squid, and she will be adding her jewelry, some gift items, and beading/jewelry supplies and classes to the new space!

Hopefully once we’re up and running you’ll help join me in welcoming Melissa and exploring new avenues from combining beading and knitting.
