I first designed this scarf at the onset of a new romance. I was a little insecure about knitting it for my new boyfriend, because I wasn’t sure he would like it. I decided to make something that I could whip up quickly and easily, in case he didn’t like it.

My first foray into designing was making some custom fit socks for my dad. I only wrote up the pattern so that I could remember how to knit these socks so I could make many pairs for dear old dad, who has always supported my creative endeavors.

The Conroe Hat was named for Conroe, TX, where my grandfather lives. I designed this hat especially for him and the climate where he lives.
