Évidemment is an open front cardigan with drop shoulders, a beautiful cable pattern and some special details. A provisional cast on is the start of a double cable band at the back neck. When the back neck is worked at a sufficient length, the cable band undoubles forming the front cable bands and the bands on the sleeves.

Pythagoras’ socks are worked from the cuff down with a heel gusset and a short row heel. Special, cleverly placed increases following the colorwork pattern are worked in the heel gusset. They disappear in the all over patterning and are ’almost’ invisible.

Sock ô mousse is worked toe up with a short row heel and heel flap. The leg features a fun colorwork with randomly placed bubbles. The colorwork is charted only. Don’t worry if you make mistakes in this part, nobody will see it :-D

The strip is spiraling down joining as you go with a special technique. It can be worn as is - a long hat - or the brim can be folded back and the top spirals pushed down.

It has a cable stitch pattern that gradually decreases to shape the crown. It can be made as a ‘light’ slouchy hat or blocked on a plate for a beret shape.

I discovered this cable-stitch ‘par accident’. I was making a large cable (24sts), dropped my cable needle with the stitches on it, picked it up and accidently turned it the ‘wrong way’.
