this beanie was inspired by my families trip to ark encounters! It has a nice texture and definition. it also has an interesting stitch combination. child size can be achieved with a smaller hook. I do crochet tight so you may need to adjust your hoom size to suit you. any worsted weight yarn will work for this hat.

For child size go down to 4mm hook.

if you want to make a child size version you can change your main hook to a 5mm and special hook to 4.5

if you are wanting to make it child size only increase up to 4, and use a 5mm hook for hat and 4.5 for the double half double v stitch.

this pattern is for a child size vest, adult size coming soon. 4mm hook for 4-7 4.5mm hook for 8-12.
