Very simple and fast project. Great for using up your stash yarn. Easy to adjust the length and width. Sample is shown in solid lime green yarn and variegated pink/red/green yarn.

This is the kids version of Shima Shima wrist warmer.

Simple stripy long wrist warmer. I used one solid color (green) and one variegated (blue-purple) yarn to make this wrist warmer “shima shima” (stripe).

This is a modified version of my earlier “basket weave gloves”. With added thumb gusset, the gloves will fit more snugly. Just to warn you, basket weave pattern is not difficult, but it goes slow.

My mother made wrist warmers for me (the last picture) and this is a modified version of it. Basket weave in the round is not difficult but it is slow. It is beautiful, though, especially with variegated yarn!

Two skeins of different shades of orange are used in this cowl. I double stranded the yarn and two shades of yarn are combined in such a way that the color gradually blends in and changes one end of the cowl to the other.
