This small shawl starts with a lace pattern that is worked from the point up, increasing along one edge only. When you get bored with the lace, switch to the mock-rib pattern for a few rows. Switch between the two stitches as desired and change color when you want to create your own unique Surf’s Edge.

The Love-Me-Knot Cowl is a versatile piece that can be worn draped about the neck once or twice; folded and looped like a regular scarf; opened and worn around the shoulders like a shawl; draped like a hood; the possibilities are endless!

This pattern was created for Knitorious, my local yarn shop. Each year the shop gives away a free pattern for the Summer’s Last Blast Yarn Crawl. This was ours for 2013.
