Experiments in crochet.

I have been a huge Deadpool fan for years, so I couldn’t wait for the movie to come out. To shorten the wait, I started making stuff, like the Deadpool Care Bear or my potholders

I wanted potholders with the Deadpool logo but didn’t find any. So I did what every other nerd does: Make up stuff and see if it works! This is the result.

Some day in November 2013 I stood in front of my DVD and BluRay collection with a problem: Out of my favorite shows, which one should I watch? I had no clue and decided to make some kind of “decision helper”, I’m a crafter, so this should be easy.

I love the BBC show Sherlock (as many others do!). My apartment definitely needs more self made fandom-stuff, so I did my best to chart the famous wallpaper of 221b Baker Street with the goal to make a (throw) pillow for my couch. The original design is NOT by me, all props go to the original designer of the Wallpaper!

This is a chart for the iconic words “May the force be with you” from the Star Wars movies.

I love the 90s SciFi-show “Babylon 5”. This chart is my try to make the Psi-Corps Logo knitable.

This is a chart for the “Nerd Herd” Logo that appeared in the TV-show Chuck.

I admire the work that the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society does for ocean life, so I wanted to turn the 2 main logos of the organisation into pillowcases.

This is a chart I whipped up for the Logo of the Weyland Yutani Corporation from the “Alien”-Franchise. I used it to make a small, knit pillowcase, but you can use it as you like.
