This shawl is crocheted from the top down to create an attractively draped trapezoid shape that’s perfect as a shawl or a scarf. ‘UK’ terminology is used throughout.

This free mock brioche cowl design was created to supplement the release of my new GamerCrafting Yarns Super Chunky Chainette Merino yarn, inspired by spells from Harry Potter. The yarn is available on my Etsy shop.

This pattern was inspired by my travels during the summer of 2016, to Florence, and then to the seaside in Norfolk. I love the gentle ombre that these colors make, they create a gorgeous shawl. It was named thanks to my Instagram followers who suggested something to do with mermaids for a title.
