Pattern sizes make 7 inch x 7 inch up to 8 1/2 inch x 8 1/2 inch squares. Gauge is not critical unless you would like a specific size. You can get around 2 dishcloths out of one small ball of yarn. Larger balls of cotton yarn and cones will yield a lot more.

Scarf measures approximately 91/2 inches x 5 feet (60 inches). Pattern multiple is given so you can adjust the width to be bigger or smaller.
