Knitting: Wreath
I saw a miniature wreath on a Polish site several years ago, and I played around with it for a while. I don’t understand Polish, so I had to go with the photos. I have thought about it and made my own version, and I’m very happpy with it.
Knitting: Pullover
I’ve had this top-down sweater in my head for a while and decided to convert it from a vision in my head to an actual garment during Christmas 2018. I’ve had a thing for Celtic cables for years, and I knew I wanted to have the focus on the cables. Slipped stitches is a new infatuation, and they will be in focus of my next sweater, and therefore...
Knitting: Scarf
I made this scarf for my daughter, as a “Congratulations on your driver’s license and your new faux fur coat is absolutely gorgeous”-gift/drive me here and there-bribe, and it worked!
Knitting: Bookmark
I’m a huge fan of Harry Potter, and I found myself with leftovers from a Ravenclaw cowl. Cutting a piece of yarn when I was putting my book down and it dawned upon me that I needed a bookmark. A scarf bookmark. A Harry Potter scarf bookmark.
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
I always have a hat on my needles, I love making them, and I thought it could be fun trying to make a top down hat for once. I have used parts of this pattern to make a christmas table cloth, and I liked the poinsettia-looking middle.
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
This is a 6 colours pattern, using the Pride colours. Each colour is ten rounds, which doesn’t call for much yarn of each colour. You’ll have yarn enough to make some of my other Pride of the Winter designs! My knitting is usually spot on the gauge on the yarn suggested.
Knitting: Cowl
We had a long and cold winter, and living in Sweden, you really need to fight off the cold. This was my 12-year olds idea, he wanted someting to wear under his hoodie, and we agreed a cowl would be perfect. and with one done, he wanted another one.
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
When a motor family has a toddler, you just HAVE to knit him a car hat.
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
Every new baby deserves their own hat, and this is for Minna, daughter of a niece.
Knitting: Throw
Keeping warm in the wheelchair duing Swedish winter calls for a lapghan. Fluffy and warm with an interesting texture with faux cables.
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
I wanted to make a shawl featuring a new stitch I’d just learned, twisted stockinette, but I must have made a mistake somewhere in my planning, and I turned out to be even happier with the outcome!
Knitting: Fingerless Gloves
Chronic pain in wrists makes me keep having to knit warmers. There’s no fun using the same pattern over and over, which is why I’m trying to figure our new patterns all the time.
Knitting: Scarf
Soft and warm scarf in the Pride colours. I used around 15 grams of each colour.
Knitting: Fingerless Gloves
My daughter’s best friend is pansexual, and I made her a Pride of the Winter Cowl. My daughter wanted to show her support by wearing the Pride colours.
Knitting: Cowl
My daughter asked me if I could make a cowl in the Pride colours for her best friend, and I loved the idea! It was so much fun to make, and the recipiant loved it.
Knitting: Cowl
A nice warm cowl for my daughter’s best friend, who, like us, is a huge Harry Potter fan.
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
My daughter wanted a shawl, and we couldn’t find any patterns she liked. She kind of liked one I made for my mother, but she didn’t want ‘a lot of holes’. When I found this yarn I knew it was the right yarn for her shawl, and I started trying stitches. After a while I knew I was on the right track, it started to look like a peacock’s tail, and ...
