Although written for one size, this pattern will still fit a variety of humans. When they come off the needles, each wellie wonder is approximately 11 inches (28 cm) high by 11 inches (28 cm) around, but the inherent stretchiness of knitting should allow them to accommodate calves up to about 15 inches (38 cm).

I have really skinny legs, and quite a few pairs of adorable boots that don’t quite fit them. So I knit up these cabled cuffs to act as "buffers" between me and the boots… viola and huzzah!
