The idea behind this shawl came to me when I wanted to knit two way stripes but didn’t want to knit with two yarns because my stranded knitting is horrible and would make the shawl very thick. So I came up with this!

Cowl pattern was inspired by roots. The roots are not always symmetric, well are they ever? They have dents and they get tangled.

The design was originally to be a very symmetric and tidy, but ended up looking like this. That’s why I named it the Train Of Thought. Also We’re All Mad Here was at consideration. I like this one better. It’s more abstract!

Once I was walking around the city on my lunch break and saw these amazing knee high gladiator sandals in a shop window. The laces were a bit different from the ordinary and thought that these would have fit Angelina Jolie as Olympias in the movie Alexander. I had watched the movie a couple nights before. I went on to have my lunch.

This cardigan is a seamless one, worked from wrist to wrist, then bust to hem and collar.

Yardage and needle size aren’t important in this pattern. The original scarf was made with 300 meters of fingering weight yarn and 6 mm needles and it resulted in a 120 cm long scarf after felting.
