Soul 13 is a sweater I wanted to knit for the longest time. It’s my soul sweater, I mean, it’s what my soul looks like, what it would wear if I had the guts to show it to others. My 13 y-o self would have LOVED this sweater. No one knitted me one, so I just wore two different red sweaters with black instead.

These mitts are inspired by the gorgeous sunrises and sunsets in the Nordic area. On a good day in December, it’s a beautiful play that you can watch in one sitting.

I come from a sailing and sea loving family and I’ve been fascinated about knots as long as I can remember.

This project started as a no-brainer stash buster. I just wanted to get rid of this beautiful skein of variegated yarn that looked amazing on the hank, but awful when knitted. I can’t stand the colors pooling.

The idea behind this shawl came to me when I wanted to knit two way stripes but didn’t want to knit with two yarns because my stranded knitting is horrible and would make the shawl very thick. So I came up with this!

The shawl was designed for the Progress, hope and happiness 2017 event. New beginnings, spring, sprouts and wavy waters! The swirly cables look just like sprouting fern or waves broken free from the prisoning grasp of ice!

The issues have been worked out and pattern is live again!

Cowl pattern was inspired by roots. The roots are not always symmetric, well are they ever? They have dents and they get tangled.

The design was originally to be a very symmetric and tidy, but ended up looking like this. That’s why I named it the Train Of Thought. Also We’re All Mad Here was at consideration. I like this one better. It’s more abstract!

This pattern is the essential me. I worked really hard for the idea! I stripped my self to the core before this pattern came to be. I had to think, what I love to knit, what am I good at?!

This cowl is worked together from squares. They are sewn together so that the seam stays on the out side. The edges are then finished by knitting a couple of rounds on each side.

It’s worked with two skeins of bulky or super bulky weight yarn, 100 m / 100 g each.

As a fangirl I watch a lot of movies. Sometimes there is dancers. I don’t care about the dancing, I’m more of a singing type, but I love the boleros’ they wear. And I’m always like ”someday I’m going to wear a bolero like that.” Well I used to be coz now I did it, and I’m loving it!! Hope you’ll love it too!

This pattern is based on my great grandmothers shawl. My sister asked me to do this pattern for all to enjoy.

This pattern requiers a special fluffy yarn. Yardage 120 m / 50 g. I used Novita Palma but any other textured yarn in same yardige will do.

This is a lovikka-style mitten, worked from the cuff.

A shawl inspired by Tim Burton’s Corpse Bride, her wedding dress. Originally I wanted to knit this for my sisters wedding, in white. But since the date were never set I just made this in darker colors instead.

The cardigan is knitted top down. The collar is knitted first, and in the end it is folded on the right side.

Doctor Who inspired socks. I was watching the episode The Bells of Saint John and some how this came to mind.

Once I was walking around the city on my lunch break and saw these amazing knee high gladiator sandals in a shop window. The laces were a bit different from the ordinary and thought that these would have fit Angelina Jolie as Olympias in the movie Alexander. I had watched the movie a couple nights before. I went on to have my lunch.

This cardigan is a seamless one, worked from wrist to wrist, then bust to hem and collar.

Yardage and needle size aren’t important in this pattern. The original scarf was made with 300 meters of fingering weight yarn and 6 mm needles and it resulted in a 120 cm long scarf after felting.

Perfect for scrap yarn and those odd balls!

Really multifunctional and versatile garment. It’s a beanie, a bonnet and a cowl. Wear it any way you want! Leave the pom-poms out or make more!

This is a very quick hat to knit, you’ll knit this in one day! You only have to know how to cast on, bind off, knit and purl. The top of the hat is joined together sewing.

These mittens were originally designed for my brother in-law for his birthday. He is an avid car repairs man and needs the warmth and mobility these mittens are offering.
