This festival market bag is very versatile. It can be used as a shopping bag, purse, laptop bag, book bag. I crocheted pony beads into the middle stitch of several popcorn stitchs. A hole is made between the brown trunk and green tree to feed a strand of battery operated lights through, leaving its’ battery pack inside the bag.

This project bag pattern is a great way to use up your scrap yarn or stash. Uses two strands of yarn make the bag sturdy. However, if you chose to use one strand, I recommend you use a smaller hook. Using a smaller hook will alter the size of the finished project.
