I came up with this idea after a crafty Mom posted about using bath/ washcloth critters as a teething toy. Perfect because they are absorbent and washable! This is my own version, yet to be tested because the intended baby has 4 weeks to cook yet!

I would recommend increasing hook size for the “nut” (depicted light green) portion for an older baby. The length of the “nut” can also be easily modified for a bigger baby.

This cozy hat is knit with 2 strands for the ear band. To make things easier I used 2 skeins of yarn, even though that much yardage was not needed.
