Knitting: Cardigan
Soissons cardi is all about details. The folded neckband, cuffs and bottom hem for a classy and dressy finish, clean saddle shoulders, set-in-sleeves and delicate lace on the front body.
Knitting: Scarf
Conscious awareness is a reversible scarf that’s so airy and light that it feels like clouds around your neck.
Knitting: Cowl
ACCH is a quick and fun project. The cowl is worked from the top down – from the neck to the bottom. The circumference of the bottom half is larger by using larger needles, so that no increase stitches, easy peasy! But you can make it straight for your taste. Also you can add the line in contrast colour. Enjoy!
Knitting: Scarf
Calicante is a lace scarf in a long trapezoid shape with each end tapered alike. It starts with increasing stitches until it has enough stitches to work evenly for a while, and then decreases to finish. The lace on each side is slightly different, but equally gorgeous, so that you can enjoy both sides.
Knitting: Cowl
Take a look at both sides. Do you see how cool they both are?! I like both, but I am so fascinated by the almost three dimensional texture on the wrong side. It looks even like a ripple in the storm. The lace is so stretchy and flexible that it covers my shoulders, so that I enjoy this as a shawl, as well as a cowl.
Knitting: Tee
I like wearing a garment in linen in summer, it is light and dry, a perfect fibre to me. When I was searching some interesting linen yarn, Vera caught my eyes. 65% silk and 35% linen/flax - mmm very interesting and unique combo! I was over the moon when Anzula kindly supported the yarn.
Knitting: Pullover
When I was on vacation in Japan, I saw a lovely cotton blouse - loose body fit with flaring sleeve - I think a translucent organdy was used for the sleeve. Unfortunately the colour I wanted was not available, so I decided to make one for myself in summer yarn. Here it is! It is actually better than what I saw in Japan!
Knitting: Cardigan
I made this cardi/bolero in summer 2015. I brought this with me everywhere I went, to a theatre, a restaurant, a friend’s house, a museum, etc. It is so light that I just throw it in my purse. When it’s time for washing, pop it in a washer! I wore and washed so many times, it is now so soft like a linen fabric. I just looove linen yarn!
Knitting: Pullover
Rosetta is worked from the top-down with raglan construction seamlessly. It features the delicate lace in the front, the cute lace on the back and the sleeves. The body is worked straight with no shaping for a relaxed and laid back fit. This simple pullover with a feminine touch can be easily modified, e.g., shorter sleeves, shorter body, waist...
Knitting: Cardigan
My sister said, “it looks like blue corals” when she first saw the photo of the cardigan. The lace does look like corals, does it? It is made up with multiples of 4 stitches, the twisted stitches give a fun movement and a great texture.
Knitting: Pullover
Swing, as the name suggests, is a swingy pullover with an A-line shape from under the arm to the bottom. I wanted to let the silk blend yarn shine by itself and give a beautiful drape with the pleats in the back. The lace around the neck adds a breezy feel to the Stokinette body. Since the body is nice and relaxed with plenty of positive ease, ...
