Knitting: Mid-calf Socks
I was looking for a simplistic sock pattern to use for some of my handspun sock yarn, something that wouldn’t bore me stiff like a plain vanilla sock but would still fly off the needles and show off the long color repeats of the yarn. I have listed the gauge I used, but please adapt to your own yarn and knitting style.
Knitting: Scarf
This little scarflette’s namesake is my paternal grandmother, who has always inspired me with her artistic quilts. The lace motif here is similar to a traditional quilt pattern called Grandmother’s Flower Garden. Since my grandmother is also very fond of flowers, it seemed fitting. The pattern works well with both semi-solid and variegated yarns.
