This free pattern provides instructions for one patterned and one plain  stitch washcloth, both 8 inches square. One skein of the recommended  yarn will make one of each washcloth. 

Easy to follow crochet pattern utilizing three simple stitches to make beautiful handmade pillows, lap blankets, or throw sized blankets.

I used 2 skeins of this yarn for the blanket.

This pattern can easily be made from scraps.
