The yarn I am using in this project is big twist value pound+ medium weight 4. The recommended gauge being an H/5.00mm hook. The gauge swatch being 13sc x 14 rows equaling a 4” x 4” square. I have also used Mandala Sparkle yarn in the color Nova in the border sections of the pattern.

2nd half of pattern will be added next sunday.

There are instructions to do an odd or even # of “twirl” motifs in this pattern.

E 3.50mm produces a 7” square -78 yards

This lovely shawl can be worked to any size.

This pattern uses about 1 and a 1/2 cakes of Lion Brand Mandala Yarn.

The project in the photo was done with Lion Brand Mandala Yarn Colorways Pixie Hollow and Bonus Bundle Giant. I used almost 2 cakes of Pixie Hollow and Almost a whole cake of Giant. This is using I 5.50 mm hook.

This square was inspired by my daughter Cydney Rose. The use of the mosaic technique and ch1 spaces create a lovely texture that also reduces the bulk of typical mosaic.

Designed for any gauge. Both examples in photos, The Brown is Red heart super saver yarn, in an I hook. One repeat measures 15” wide by 17” long. The Purple and Pink one is Lion Brand Mandala yarn in a G hook. One repeat measures 11 1/2” wide, by 13” long.
