Knitting: Earrings
Ease into knitting with wire with this earring pattern. Included along with the pattern are tips for working with wire, as well as detailed pictures of each step.
Knitting: Scarf
My coat is always hanging open, so what could be better than a giant scarf to keep my middle warm? This simple eyelet scarf is kicked up a notch by knitting it on the bias. Since it’s knit out of a soft, bulky yarn, it’s still warm despite the holes.
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
Knit Primetime in an evening of watching your favorite shows. It knits up quickly in the round, using ribbing and a simple eyelet lace pattern. It’s available in 2 sizes, average slouch and super slouch. (Shown in super slouch.) . Even though Primetime has a lace pattern, the fabric is still dense and warm due to the doubled yarn.
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
This versatile beanie adds a touch of extra warmth for your wee ones. Because the stitch pattern is ribbing based, the hat is especially stretchy and will accommodate a wide range of head sizes. It’s also completely reversible.
Knitting: Beret, Tam
My favorite part of knitting a hat is the crown. I especially like the spiral the decreases make as they swirl towards the center. The decreases of this hat stand out on a field of pebbled seed stitch. Baby cables around the bottom edge add an extra bit of texture. The yarn used is soft, silky, and washable; perfect for little ones.
