Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
Merrywether is a spunky little fairy full of whimsy and wit. In order to zip around the world doing good she first needs a shawl that stays put.
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
Water Slide is a beanie worked top down in garter stitch with twisted stitch cables. The first few rounds can be a bit tricky to work, but keep with it. It gets easier as your work gets larger. Once you hit the body the hat becomes easy peasy to knit.
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
Rise and Fall is created using an undulating chevron stitch pattern and a gradient in both color and shape, which makes the design both interesting to knit and to look at.
Knitting: Beret, Tam
Pleating is a universal garment shaping technique. You will see it in many different fabrics, both sewn and knit. It can be used to create a swishy skirt, add a little extra room to pants, or some extra shaping to sweaters.
Knitting: Scarf
I was greatly inspired by fun, vintage pom pom fringe that you often see edging pillows, curtains, lampshades, and anything else that you can put a fringe on- but all I could find was a crochet version of the fringe. I made several attempts to learn crochet just so I could make this fringe, and I failed every time, so I decided to create my own...
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
Cold winter months can go on and on, seemingly without end, until that moment when hope is restored by trees and plants pushing out their leaves towards to early springtime sun. If you’re like me, you wait very impatiently for this sign that the warm months are just around the corner.
Knitting: Beret, Tam
A design made for a princess and a yarn that’s fit for a queen- what more could a woman want? This tam/beret design incorporates simple cables and eyelets to mimic a tiara around the brim and 8 diamonds around the crown and is worked in a luxurious yarn that is suitable for any occasion or season.
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
Corridor is a DK weight shawl that incorporates zig-zag cabled triangle panels, seed stitch stripes, and 3 center spines to add interest, intrigue and a cozy shawl that will wrap easily around and cover both shoulders to keep you comfortable when there’s a cool breeze. It is written in an alpaca/silk/merino yarn, but you could easily use a 100%...

Knitting: Beanie, Toque
This pattern has been rewritten and improved from an original version posted on the MetaPostModernKnitting website (no longer available).
Knitting: Scarf
The Succession Scarf is a quick and easy one skein project that makes the perfect accent to any outfit. The circles of the pattern make it interesting for both solid and multicolored colorways and the I-cord edging is knit on as the pattern is knit so there are no picking up stitches and it’s an updated edging to the traditional garter stitch s...
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
Makalu is the fifth highest mountain in the world, in the Himalaya range, and is a 4 sided pyramid. This simple, yet interesting pattern, greatly resembles a peak like this to me. It isn’t 4 sided; but it does gradually climb in even increments to the peak, gathering all of the ribbed lines together at the top.
Knitting: Cowl
Sastrugi is snow that has been eroded by wind, leaving it rippled and textured. When the weather is cold and windy, all I want to do is bundle up with something warm and cozy. Peter Rabbit is just that. It’s fuzzy and warm and deserves to be close to you face when you need extra snuggles. The texture of this cowl makes it fun to knit and intrig...
Knitting: Beret, Tam
I love a hat that can be worn many different ways, or “morphed” into many different styles. This one in particular can be worn as a beanie/skullcap, tam, slouch, and even a snood if you have a lot of hair to stretch it out or if you want to continue the pattern to add some length to it. Anyone can “morph” it to fit their style.

Knitting: Softies - Other
When I was a child I had several wooden puzzles. According to my mother, one of my favourite activities to do with the pieces was throwing them at people. I thought that stuffed puzzle pieces could provide the entertainment of throwing things, while at the same time doubling as a puzzle.
Knitting: Cowl
This cowl or neckwarmer pattern was inspired by men painted by the artists of the Pre-Raphaelite era. The women were so beautiful and complexly dressed, and the men that were meant to impress them were dressed almost all alike. They were dressed simply, in natural colors, with high-necked suits or armor. I found two works of art to be particula...
Knitting: Scarf
For some reason, whenever I think of vintage, I think of Paris. It could be because I’ve seen Funny Face to many times (who doesn’t love vintage and also love Audrey Hepburn and Fred Astaire), or it could be because it is the city of love- and I’m a big fan of love.
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
I found these two yarns; a rough tweed, and softer cashmere blend that seemed to have an infinite number of color combinations. The result is a very warm, gender-neutral beanie. It is super warm, and if it loosens up to much it can be thrown in the wash and the tweed with felt and tighten the hat up for an even warmer hat, while the cashmere bl...

This naughty spiderweb brassiere will be sure to get your significant other trapped in the web of your boudoir!
