These placemats were designed with matching coasters for a family member for Christmas. I’ve done very little mosaic knitting before, and thought I would try my hand at pattern-writing as well. Aside for the needle size I thought worked best, they were very easy and came out beautifully!

This is a version “2.0” of my original Mermaid Tail design, updated to include larger sizes, so anyone can have a mermaid adventure! There has been a lot of cancer around my friends and family recently. This blanket was designed to encourage and show support through their medical treatments. This pattern I think would be great for prayer shawl ministries, or just in general to show love to friends and family who are battling cancer.

This is a version “2.0” of my original Mermaid Tail design. This pattern was designed for the baby sizes, please let me know if you’d like me to invest in designing larger sizes! The intent was primarily for baby photoshoots, but as a larger blanket anyone could be a mermaid if they wanted!
