Knitting: Cowl
I just love what you can do with mosaic slip stitch color work. It is such a powerful technique and the more I work with it, the more fascinated I am.
Knitting: Scarf
Cadence is my mega scarf. Finished and blocked it is 11 inches (28 cm) wide and 95 inches (241 cm) long. That’s long enough to wear it with a big comfy loop and wide enough to drape it over my shoulders and pin with a brooch. I just love knitted accessories that can be worn in different ways. Don’t you?
Knitting: Fingerless Gloves
Here are a pair of fingerless gloves that make use of slip stitch color work to create blocks of color. They look like an intarsia knit but they aren’t. I felt so clever making these little mitts and I hope they put a smile on your face too.
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
Parallel lines have everything in common… but they never meet. Then again, they never drift apart.
Knitting: Beret, Tam
A quick and easy slouchy hat. It takes only one skein and you can finish it in an evening. This is the pattern I use to teach knitting-in-the-round! Enjoy.
Crochet: Cup / Mug
Coffee is Life, at least for me. I can’t get by without it so I decided to spoil myself with a super-cozy! But I couldn’t find a pattern with both pockets and a strap so I was forced to use my brain (oh noes!) and make one. It hasn’t been test-crocheted or anything so if you find any mistakes please let me know.
