Knitting: Beanie, Toque
The Stornoway hat incompasses everything you could think of. Cables, colourwork, and a wee bit of lace! Inspired by the whale arches in Stornoway the cables on the hat are inspired by the Jaw bones set up across pathways on the Isle of Lewis.
Knitting: Mid-calf Socks
Four options exist for this sock with varying amounts of colour work in each. Option 1 caries the motif throughout the sock with a striped under foot section. Option 2 caries the motif to the gusset/heel. Option 3 has only one repeat of the motif around the leg and Option 4 contains two shorter bands around the leg.
Knitting: Mid-calf Socks
Worked partially with intarsia, these socks are knit back and forth RS and WS to avoid having to use intarsia in the round. Done with YO at the beginning of each round. Can be done with two colour blocks or multiple colours to use up scraps.

This is my first jump into actually writing out a pattern for my designs. After the announcement of the Scottish yarn festivals own Scottish heritage yarn I’ve designed a hat to commemorate the occasion using Tate and Anderson.
Knitting: Throw
Using Miniskeins from Giddy Yarns LOTR 2022 club each colourway/square also has its name encorporated as braille using purl stitches.
