This is a very simple scarf. You knit stockinette stitch until you have a scarf that is the length you are looking for. Then you purposely drop stitches on it to get a nice lace look. It looks complicated, but it is brainless knitting!

I used two skeins of Lecco and made the hat and the sleepy sack with about a half a skein left over
