I wrote this pattern to match an adorable pair of longies that I fell in love with. I wanted a few matching longies/hat sets, but didn’t find the hat that I wanted to match it, so I made one up. The pattern as written is untested. Please let me know if you run into any difficulty.

I modified this pattern to be knit on a machine, rather than flat, and made a few other alterations for better fit.
