Crochet: Beanie, Toque
This pattern is for more experienced crocheters. The cable stitch is worked in the round, which is different than most cable patterns worked in right side / wrong side. As the hat is worked from round to round, the cable is formed in the normal fashion and then reversed, to maintain the twist and design.

Crochet: Earrings
I used serger Pearl Cotton to make the first pair, which is shown on the top in white. I later purchased Omega Hilo nylon crochet thread with gold running through the thread. The nylon earrings certainly seem to hold their shape better.
