Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
Adams Point is an elegant, light-as-a-feather, rectangular-shaped shawl. It combines garter and garter rib stitches interrupted with a simple diamond pattern. The simplicity of the shawl lends itself to an elegant evening or a cozy curl up with a good book.
Knitting: Cardigan
A sweet fingering weight cardi sized from newborn to 4 years, Maddie is knit flat from the bottom up. Sleeves are knit in the round and then joined at the yoke which is worked stranded back and forth. Color work is both charted and written out and button band instructions are given for both girl and boy versions.
Knitting: Baby Blanket
Spokes is a graphic baby blanket with slip stitch detailing. Since it’s worked from the center out, you can make it as large as you wish. Naturally, you will have to compensate for the extra size with extra yardage. Sample shown is in neutrals, but pick two colors that you love, bold or subdued, for your favorite baby.
Knitting: Pixie Hat
A sweet hat with a squishy garter striped brim to keep little ears warm. The stockinette stitch crown is divided by slipped stitches and tapers to a slight point. A perfect place for a tassel!
Knitting: Cardigan
Knit in garter stitch from the top down, the striped yoke is punctuated with slipped stitches. The sleeves are knit flat then seamed and the body is knit in one piece. The striping can be knit with graduated colors as shown or just one contrasting color. Four buttons close the yoke.
Knitting: Cowl
Wabash is a cowl / kerchief with an interesting twist. Beginning at the neck it is knit in the round, then knit back and forth with decreases ending at the front point. A quick knit, perfect to gift or keep for yourself when those cold winds blow.
Knitting: Cardigan
Baby Kylie is a squishy garter stitched cardigan for a girl or boy. Knit from the top down in two colors of fingering weight yarn, the striped yoke is punctuated with slipped stitches. Sleeves are knit flat then seamed afterwards and the body is knit in one piece. There are instructions for both girl and boy buttonhole placement.
Knitting: Cowl
A stripey, seasonless linen stitched cowl worked lengthwise with icord boarders. Using Valley Yarns Goshen, the cotton/modal/silk blend has a lovely drape and is soft against the skin. The cowl uses 3 skeins of the main color and 1 skein each of 4 contrasting colors (7 skeins total).
