This pattern is knit in the round. You will need double pointed needles size 3 -5. (US) You can use worsted or bulky yarn as well. The cat will just be larger. I suggest using a size US 7 double pointed for worsted and a size US 9 double pointed for bulky.

This is an easy pattern. I used Acrylic yarn. You can use sport or even bulky for this pattern. Your mermaid will turn out bigger but it will still work. I recommend using a size 3-5 US needle for worsted and a US 9 for bulky.
