These mittens were inspired by the #10 Helmet Hat by Deborah Newton which appeared in the Vogue Knitting Holiday 2011 magazine and later their Ultimate Hat Book. Should you wish to make both as a set, then you will likely want to purchase smaller, but matching buttons to your hat choice which can be placed on the mitten cuffs.

This pattern was designed for my daughter. She had choosen the Phenominon/Bella mittens last year and the Cabled Chapeau hat. The neckwarmer was made to combine both types of cables used in the other two projects to bring them together into a set.
