Crochet: Mittens
These fantastic fulled/felted mitten work up quickly and are super warm. They’re great for sailing, skiing, snowboarding and any other out door activity where your hands have the potential to get wet and cold.
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
I HATE hats. A lot. I hate how they pull at your hair, how uncomfortable they are and I just loathe them.
Crochet: Beanie, Toque
This fun hat is reversible and easy to make. It won’t take you more than a few hours and then you’ll have 2 hats -because it’s reversible!
Crochet: Fingerless Gloves
These mitts take advantage of funky yarn that changes weight. They fit comfortably on women’s hands and also stretch to fit men’s hands.
Crochet: Toeless Sock
This pattern allows you to create reversible yoga socks. You can make them as tall as you want. To make a bigger size, use a larger hook. It takes one skein of yarn to complete them but may use less depending how long you make them. They are striped with ridges on one side and an imitation knit stitch on the other. Enjoy!
Crochet: Cowl
This is a fun, loopy cowl that provides a great way to use up your mohair. I always find beautiful mohair in second hand stores and I never know what to do with it.
Crochet: Fingerless Gloves
This is a really pretty pattern I’ve been working on perfecting for awhile.
Crochet: Fingerless Gloves
This is an amazingly textured pattern that uses crochet in third loop only. The combined effect of the self striping yarn and the ridges make these gloves really special.
Crochet: Fingerless Gloves
This handwarmer pattern has it all; texture, colour and variety. The combination of yarn colours you can use is endless, and each pair can be totally different. The best part about this pattern is that it requires very little yarn, so you can use up all those pesky scraps in your stash.
