Introducing the Dreaming of Flowers square, so named because it literally came to me in a dream. This square is a great introduction to mandala-style crochet. You can make it with any yarn (it’s a great scrap buster) and any hook size. Use cotton to make hot pads, or make several squares and join them to make a blanket.*
Crochet: Beanie, Toque
This pattern is for a very easy to make Jughead style hat. It’s not an exact match to the hat on Riverdale, but the simplicity of it definitely makes up for that.

Crochet: Beanie, Toque
This is a simple slouchy beanie, made using bulky weight yarn. It is a great project for using up scrap and leftover yarn, and it can be easily modified for other yarn weights.

This is a written pattern for the swirl beanie. This pattern is for an adult-sized beanie. If you want to make a child-sized beanie, I would stop increasing when there are 2 BPDCs between each FPDC.

Once you get the stitch down, you can make it any size using any yarn.
