Knitting: Ankle Sock
This pattern is a toe-up sock and it is a GREAT way to feature self-striping yarns. As a dyer, I tend to knit using my own hand-dyed but I had self-striping Sockotta in my stash as well as numerous others. I wanted a unique way to show off these self-striping yarns and this is what came out of that thought process.

What’s in a name? Well, I wrote a pattern called “Just a Little Loopy” and had a tester working on it. I decided to play with it too in my {cough} spare time {cough}. I read my own pattern wrong and this was the result. I really like it!
Knitting: Fingerless Gloves
Size can be adjusted by adding/subtracting stitches or by using larger/smaller needles. This gauge fits a hand with a diameter of 7” around the knuckles and 6.5” wrist.

This one works up really fast. It’s an easy lace sock that is easy to memorize and therefore very portable. Great for those of us who travel on public transit and don’t want to juggle paper patterns with us!
