The shawl is garter stitch in 4 colors, with two-color cables joining the blocks of color, and a lace border knit sideways to the shawl, joined as you go. It uses fingering weight yarn, but could easily be made larger by using sport or worsted weight yarn and adjusting needles sizes accordingly.

This pattern has not been tested, so it may have issues. If you decide to make it and find any problems, please let me know! And I’d be happy to try to decipher anything that doesn’t seem to make sense.

This asymmetrical, color block scarf with a bi-color cable has written instructions and charts. It is easy to knit and to customize. There are a couple of options written in the pattern for customizing your scarf: garter vs. i-cord edging and straight vs. asymmetrical.
