The corners of this square remind me of little chicken feet. Little scratchy chicken feet. Hence the name Chicken Scratch.

Crochet: Afghan block
This square is a bit unusual in its construction. Round 4 is done differently then usual. It calls for tr bobble - which is 3tr bobble. If you find your heart bumps are too small or big you can make it s 2tr bobble or a 4tr bobble. the round is worked the same regardless.

Georges Granny in a 10 inch square I designed for a swap in the Ravelry group called Vannas Choice Fan Club. You can use it in any color. To change the size simply add a few more rounds of dc to get to a 12 inch square. Ideally if you change the hook size to a G or H you may get an 8 inch square.

This square is for the advanced beginner. Besides the sc, hdc, dc, & tr you need to also know how to do bpsc.
Crochet: Afghan block
This square is made of 4 little squares crocheted together. Texture is provided by the middle stitches on each side of the smaller squares and the construction of the larger square.

This square would be great for comfortghans and friendship square exchanges. the only special stitch is the front post double crochet (fpdc) which is easy once you do it a few times.

Crochet: Baby Blanket
This baby blanket came to me after talking with Grace about making my Starbright square into a baby blanket.
Crochet: Afghan block
It is said it takes a village to raise kids - and from experience I can say it sure can. This square is my attempt to portray that in crochet.

The center of this flower reminds me of a spider web. I imagine a spider web with petals.
Crochet: Potholder
This round potholder has front post double crochets to add texture and hopefully a bit more gripping power.

Most of you I am sure have seen, tried, or even successfully completed KrochetKrystals Daisy Square. You may have seen afghans made out of the lovely square as well as purses, totes, hats, etc. Right after I figured out the pattern for myself I made a blanket for Dustys 2nd grade teacher. I thought having a daisy on every square was a bit busy....
Crochet: Hanger Cover
Want covered hangers to hanger you lingerie or whatnot on in your closet? Won’t buy any because they are just not worth the money? Want your own personal touch to your closet? Here is the perfect thing!
Knitting: Potholder
