4/29/12 I finally perfected the cake part! A new pdf is available (Cutie Cupcake 2)! The old one is still available, as the instructions are only slightly different :P

I had a hankering for a chunky knit hat with flaps. I browsed through Ravelry and couldn’t find one to my liking, so I decided to fudge one… and I think it came out amazingly!

Gauge is not important. Another easy and quick amigurumi. This one is a scrap buster---it requires less than 20 yards total to complete (as written). It’s great for beginners and seasoned pros alike! :D

Gauge is NOT important in this project. This can easily be made with thicker or thinner weights of yarn, substituting appropriate hooks for the job.
