Knitting: Throw
This afghan is knit in separate blocks. The patterns begin with an easy design, and progress gradually to more complicated lace techniques. That makes it a great project for building lace skills. It can be made in any size, simply make more blocks until you have the size that you want.

Knitting: Mittens
These basic worsted wool mittens have a decadent angora lining. Double warm and soft as a cloud! The lining is knit in after the outside mitten is complete, so no seams are necessary. I have made so many of these for gifts! Everyone loves them!
Knitting: Mittens
Use any worsted weight yarn to make these basic, cozy mittens. Nothing fancy, just wonderful! I, personally, have made countless pair of these for friends and family and myself. They turn out perfect every time. Use your own creativity to add stripes if you wish. Enjoy the warmth of a good wool mitten!
Knitting: Mittens
This lady’s mitten features beads placed in the shape of a snowflake motif. It could also be knit in two colors of yarn, using a contrasting color for the snowflake design instead of using beads. This elegant design is in honor of the Cultured Purl knit shop’s tenth anniversary. Pearls for the “Purl”!
Knitting: Feet / Legs - Other, Boot Cuffs / Toppers
These cozy cuffs add a festive touch to winter boots or rain boots. The large size will fit tall boots, and the small will fit ankle boots or children’s boots. Yarn requirements include MC and CC. One ball of each should make one pair. (202 yards of each) If your are making both pair in both sizes, you will need two balls of the MC.
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
This pattern was originally created for a baby, now available in 4 sizes. It is a delight to knit, and the recipients of the three hats that I made from this pattern rave about them! The stranded work adds another layer of warmth. I have lined mine in angora twice to create a third layer to keep out the chilly wind.
Knitting: Scarf
Attractive, light and airy summer accessory that can be worn in many ways. Knit in the round, this circle scarf includes 8 lace patterns in beginning to intermediate difficulty. One size fits all. This scarf is lovely in lace weight yarn as well.
Knitting: Beret, Tam, Beanie, Toque
This hat is flattering to nearly everyone who wears it! Pattern includes two variations. The “ladies’” version fits like a slouchy beanie. The “Jumbo” is a trendy looking slouchy beret with a Rastafarian look that can be used as a snood!
