The Norwegian Ridgeback: Dragon Ear Warmer was inspired by the first Harry Potter book. Hagrid raises a baby dragon named Norbert who is a Norwegian Ridgback Dragon. The main design of this ear warmer mimics the scales and ridges along a dragon spine down to his snout.

This pattern is designed to be knit in the round and so that you can use any stashed/scrap yarns you may have laying around. It’s a quick festive knit and can be made up in an hour or two.
