I made this pattern because I found lots of toque and stocking cap style beehives, but not a beret style. I love it in a variegated yarn and coordinating contrast color, but it looks great in two solid colors as well.

This hat looks great in a worsted black with a fingering weight bright self-striper or variegated! The pattern is a little lacy, and drops the yarns alternately for heavy and light weight sections, and it features purl ridges between the lacy sections.

Contains directions for making dreadlocks on your hat - done in super-bulky for ease in making the dreads. Also contains directions for pony bead embellishment of hat.
