This is a simple double knitting pattern with an easily repeatable pattern. The pattern can be easily multiplied to create larger or smaller projects.

This pattern is for a circular coaster that is very nice when made with variegated yarn or alternating colors. There is an optional crochet border around the outside of the knit center section.

This pattern produces a diagonal dishcloth that is quite similar to the traditional Grandmother’s Favorite pattern. However, it does not have the lace edges produced by yarn overs. Instead, this pattern uses knit twice in one stitch increases to add stitches without the holes produced by yarn overs.
